Biography

I spent most of my childhood years in the beautiful city of Cape Town, before spreading my wings in search of a new adventure. I certainly found this when I first moved to England teaching in two comprehensive schools. Since teaching in England, I’ve taught in three international schools in Brazil, Costa Rica and Portugal taking on different roles in leadership. Teaching internationally has been a fascinating experience, by not only broadening my horizons, but also allowing me to grow as an individual. I’ve always had a passion for teaching and love being in the classroom with my students. I truly believe that Geography plays a vital role in preparing students for the ever-changing world in which we live as the students we educate today will become tomorrows’ global citizens. 

I love sports, adventure, travelling and experiencing different cultures. One of my favorite places in the world is the African bush. Never have I found another place in the world that stimulates my senses in one single moment…the wildlife, sunsets, smells, and sounds of the bush are truly magical.
