Anti-Bullying Awareness Week

WIST created greater awareness of how we are treating one another by highlighting Anti-Bullying Awareness week. Students were given a daily challenge to complete, for which they can also earn House Points. For example, they will sit with someone new at lunchtime and would need to provide evidence in order to successfully complete the challenge. Other challenges include creating a Kindness Wall and particpating in Odd Socks Day to celebrate uniqueness and individuality. Year 8 held an assembly for the whole Secondary school in which they gave a performance based on the 2022 theme “Reach Out”.

At WIST, we are working towards creating a consistently supportive community for all students and staff, encouraging everyone to be aware of how we speak to each other and always treating each other with respect.
