Irina currently works as a teacher of Russian language and literature for middle and high school students at Westminster International School (WIST). She began her career as a teacher of the Russian language in 1989 and to this day works in various educational institutions of Tashkent. Irina worked as the head of the international department at the Republican Education Center, coordinator of the joint project of UNICEF and Minstry of Education"School of friendly relationship to child", author and coordinator of the international project "Implementation of inclusive education in the Republic of Uzbekistan", by UNESCO and Ministry of education from 2008 to 2011. Coordinator of international forums of the Republican Center for Social Adaptation of Children. Within the framework of the European Union’s international project “Inclusive Education in Uzbekistan” she visited schools in Italy, Spain, and France. Irina tries to identify the abilities of each student as early as possible, using an individual approach, supports high expectations of students and tries to take into account the strengths of innovative planning and conducting non-standard, interactive lessons. She seeks to give students not only academic knowledge, but also to teach life skills, the ability to make decisions independently, tolerance, friendly attitude, using the international methodology.
